Assistant Finance Manager - FinTech/Payments Industry

Summary

Detail-oriented finance professional with experience in financial reporting, accounting operations, compliance, and reconciliations. Key Responsibilities

- Financial Reporting: Manage end-to-end accounting, including General Ledger (GL) maintenance and timely month/quarter/year-end closures in compliance with Ind AS.

- Audit & Compliance: Coordinate statutory and tax audits; ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC filings.

- Operations & Payroll: Oversee AP/AR cycles and payroll processing, including PF, Gratuity, and statutory deductions.

- Reconciliations: Handle complex reconciliations for payment gateways, bank accounts, and vendor ledgers-critical for fintech/payment businesses.

- Systems & Controls: Utilize ERP systems and automation to enhance financial controls, reporting accuracy, and data integrity.

Technical Skills

- Accounting Tools: Advanced proficiency in Zoho Books and Tally.

- MS Excel: Strong hands-on expertise in advanced Excel functions and financial analysis.

- Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ind AS, GST, and TDS regulations.

- Industry Exposure: Experience in Fintech / Payments industry preferred.
