Assistant Entity Controller - CA

Role Summary:

Responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards, and managing audits and financial closures (month, quarter, and year-end) in SAP. Accountable for trial balance, general ledger, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and tax accounting. Oversee end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) processes for the Tea business, including both financial and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead financial reporting, variance analysis, and business commentaries.

- Ensure compliance with global finance controls and coordinate with shared service centers and third-party providers.

- Manage financial close processes, fixed asset accounting, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet reviews.

- Support automation, transformation initiatives, and finance controllership.

- Collaborate cross-functionally, influencing stakeholders and driving business performance.

Skills & Experience:

- CA with 36 years or MBA (Finance) with 810 years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG.

- Strong understanding of IFRS, Indian/US GAAP, and SAP (ECC/S4 Hana).

- Proven leadership, analytical ability, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

- Experience in global roles, financial controls, and shared services.
