Role :

- Assisted in executing application security audits in alignment with the approved audit plan, supporting the identification of vulnerabilities across applications, infrastructure, and networks.

- Participated in information security and compliance audits to ensure adherence to standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and HIPAA.

- Supported audit activities by gathering relevant information, documenting observations, and collaborating with audit teams to develop remediation and action plans.

- Conducted risk and control assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls, including access management, change management, and security policies.

- Performed vulnerability assessments and security testing to identify weaknesses and recommend corrective measures for enhanced security posture.

- Leveraged data analytics and automation techniques to improve audit efficiency, accuracy, and reporting processes.

- Prepared detailed technical and management-level audit reports highlighting findings, associated risks, and remediation recommendations for stakeholders.

- Reviewed security policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure alignment with industry best practices and evolving cybersecurity standards, while staying informed about emerging threats and trends.

Qualifications :

- Experience in technology audits or related domains, including relevant internships and academic projects.

- Sound understanding of IT security concepts, controls, and best practices within technology environments.

- Familiarity with security assessment and testing tools such as Burp Suite and Nmap would be an added advantage.

- Exposure to programming languages like Python and awareness of emerging AI technologies is preferred.
