
Role Overview:
As the Assistant Director - Human Resources, you will be a key player in shaping and executing the HR strategy for our Ahmedabad operations. Your day-to-day will involve a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution, working closely with department heads, managers, and employees to foster a high-performance, engaged, and compliant work environment. You will collaborate with the leadership team to align HR initiatives with business goals, ensuring our people practices support the company's growth and success. This role directly impacts employee satisfaction, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness, contributing to a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent, ensuring a robust pipeline of future leaders.
- Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and provide HR solutions that support their objectives, driving business performance.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment, improving employee morale and productivity.
- Manage HR compliance, ensuring adherence to all applicable labor laws and regulations, mitigating legal risks.
- Oversee the performance management process, providing guidance and support to managers and employees, enhancing individual and team performance.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, supporting employee development and organizational capabilities.
- Manage employee relations issues, conducting investigations and resolving conflicts, maintaining a fair and equitable workplace.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, driving data-driven decision-making.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective talent management strategies, including succession planning and leadership development.
- Proven expertise in HR Generalist functions, including employee relations, performance management, and compensation administration.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
- Deep understanding of HR compliance and employment law, ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging training programs, enhancing employee skills and knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Master's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field preferred.
- Adaptability to work in an on-site environment in Ahmedabad, fostering direct collaboration and engagement with the local team.
