About the Role:


A leading global professional services firm is seeking a seasoned professional to join its Valuation Advisory Services team. The role involves leading and executing complex valuation engagements for clients across sectors, including mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and portfolio valuations.


You will work closely with clients to deliver high-quality valuation insights and advise on financial, regulatory, and strategic matters. This is a high-impact role requiring leadership, client management, and advanced analytical capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:


- Lead end-to-end valuation engagements, including fixed asset and capital equipment valuations, asset impairment testing, and deal support.

- Build strong client relationships, managing expectations and expanding opportunities with existing clients.

- Interpret and analyze financial statements, annual reports, business plans, and other relevant data.

- Prepare valuation models, reports, and other deliverables within agreed timelines and quality standards.

- Guide and mentor junior team members, supporting their learning and development.

- Conduct detailed industry research and market analysis to support valuation assumptions.

- Ensure compliance with risk management policies and proactively address any engagement risks.

- Contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvement initiatives within the team.


Desired Qualifications and Skills:


- MBA, Chartered Accountant, Civil Engineer, or related qualifications; professional affiliations are a plus.

- 12+ years of relevant experience in valuations, financial advisory, or corporate finance.

- Prior experience with Big 4 firms, leading valuation firms, or their support centres is preferred.

- Expertise in tangible asset valuations, purchase price allocations, business valuations, and asset impairment testing (Ind AS / IFRS).

- Advanced financial modelling skills and proficiency in Excel.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-handling abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple mandates under tight timelines while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

- Experience with research databases such as CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, or similar platforms.


Work Environment and Location:


- Base location: Mumbai

- Hybrid work model with frequent travel to client locations.
