Assistant Director - Financial Due Diligence - Banking/Financial Services

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Director - Financial Due Diligence (FDD) professional to lead and manage financial due diligence engagements in the M&A environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage end-to-end Financial Due Diligence engagements.

- Evaluate historical financial performance, quality of earnings, working capital, net debt and cash flows.

- Identify key financial risks, trends and deal-related issues.

- Manage multiple M&A/FDD assignments and ensure timely delivery.

- Lead client interactions and work closely with senior stakeholders.

- Review financial analysis, reports and deliverables prepared by the team.

- Mentor and develop team members.

- Contribute to business development, proposals and client pitches.

- Work closely with transaction, tax, valuation and other advisory teams where required.

Candidate Profile:

- 12 - 15 years of relevant FDD experience with a proven track record in a leadership role.

- Strong experience in M&A / Transaction Advisory / Financial Due Diligence.

- Qualified CA preferred.

- Candidates with CMA/ICWA/CFA/MBA (Finance) should have an additional 2+ years of relevant experience.

- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

- Experience managing teams and multiple client engagements.

- Candidates from leading consulting, Big 4 and transaction advisory firms are preferred.
