Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Branch Manager in achieving business growth, revenue targets, and profitability objectives.

- Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies for gold loans.

- Monitor gold loan portfolio asset quality and take corrective measures where necessary.

- Supervise daily branch operations to ensure adherence to policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.

- Support marketing and promotional activities to expand the gold loan customer base.

- Ensure exceptional customer service standards to build trust and loyalty.


- Analyze local gold market trends to provide insights and recommendations for competitive positioning.

- Train and mentor branch staff to enhance sales effectiveness and operational efficiency.

- Assist in resolving escalated customer queries and operational challenges.


Required Skills & Competencies:


- Sales & Operations Management: Proven experience in driving business development and operations.

- Gold & Precious Metals Market Knowledge: Understanding of gold valuation and prevailing market trends.

- Customer Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

- Analytical Skills: To assess local market trends and branch performance.

- Leadership & Teamwork: Ability to support and guide branch staff effectively.

- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication to engage with customers and team members.

- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve operational and customer-related issues efficiently.


Technical Skills (Required):


- Familiarity with gold loan processes and valuation techniques.

- Basic understanding of branch banking operations or financial services software.

- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis.


Education:


- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Banking, or a related field (mandatory).

- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance/Banking is an added advantage.


Experience:


- Minimum 4 years of experience in sales and operations within gold loans, banking, or financial services.


- Experience with local gold markets and customer segments is mandatory
