Role : Assistant Audit Manager- US

Location : Indore, Madhya Pradesh (Full-time, On-site)

Qualification Required : Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience Required : Minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience in Audit domain

Preference : Candidates with Big 4 experience will be preferred

Roles & Responsibilities :

Assist in Leading Audit Engagements : Support Audit Directors and Partners in planning, executing, and finalizing audit engagements for international clients, ensuring adherence to auditing standards, timelines, and quality benchmarks.

Client Interaction : Coordinate with clients to gather information, clarify queries, and provide updates on audit progress while maintaining professional communication.

Technical Application : Apply knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and international auditing standards to ensure accurate audit execution and reporting.

Team Management & Mentoring : Supervise and guide Audit Associates and Sr, Audit Associates review their work for accuracy, provide on-the-job training, and help in skill development.

Audit Documentation & Reporting : Prepare and review audit workpapers, financial statements, schedules, and disclosures in compliance with firm policies and standards.

Compliance & Risk Awareness : Ensure audit procedures follow internal controls, firm policies, and regulatory requirements; identify risks and report to senior management.

Process Improvement Support : Assist in identifying process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices to enhance audit efficiency and quality.

Cross-Border Coordination : Collaborate effectively with international teams across different time zones to support multi-jurisdictional audits.

Ad-hoc Responsibilities : Take ownership of specific audit areas or client requirements as delegated by Senior Managers.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong expertise in auditing and financial statement analysis.

- Sound knowledge of international accounting frameworks (IFRS, US GAAP).

- Good leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage teams, mentor juniors, and coordinate with global teams.

- Awareness of professional certifications like CPA is a plus.
