Job Description:

To provide comprehensive operational and documentation support across the investment lifecycle for debt and equity investments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of pre and post-disbursement activities.

The role aims to strengthen internal controls, enhance coordination with Investment Team and Risk Team, and drive process improvements that contribute to efficient deal closures in line with internal policies and processes and regulatory compliance.

The role involves end-to-end support across pre-disbursement, post-monitoring, and operational activities for investment transactions. The candidate will work closely with Investment Teams, Risk Team, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and process efficiency.

The candidate would be responsible for below listed activities:

Pre-Disbursement Activities:

- Review and validate Condition Precedent (CP) trackers prepared based on legal documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with transaction requirement.

- Review the CP documents received from Investment Team and provide feedback to Investment and Risk Teams.

- Ensure that that relevant approvals for deviations are in place as per the Delegation of Powers (DOP).

- Provide sign-off for disbursement prior to each investment and ensure that all relevant sign-offs are in place.

- Ensure that KYC checks and due diligence in accordance with regulatory and internal standards have been conducted

- Ensure maintenance of repositories of all deal documentation.

Post-Disbursement Activities:

- Review of Condition Subsequent (CS) and Collateral trackers post disbursement, prepared based on legal documentation

- Periodically review the CS documents provided by Investment Team and ensure accuracy and timely updation of trackers

- Ensure timely circulation of CS trackers to Investment and Risk Teams for each deal on a fortnightly basis.

Other Activities:

- Prepare dashboards for Operational Risk, CS Monitoring, and ESG compliance across funds.

- Verify system updates and document uploads for completeness and compliance.

- Oversee audit coordination and ensure timely and accurate reporting

- Collaborate with the Risk team to ensure timely deal closure, refine processes to improve accuracy, consistency and efficiency, and implement control frameworks

- Participate in projects focused on streamlining processes and increased operational efficiency

- Ensure learning and development of junior resources in the team

Skill Sets:

- Strong understanding of investment operations, risk frameworks, and regulatory compliance.

- Experience in managing investment documentation and audits.

- Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in Excel for preparing dashboards, and other internal updates

- Minimum qualification of Undergraduate degree.

- CA / MBA or equivalent qualifications/certifications.
