Partner Sales Enablement Lead


Job Description:


We're looking for a seasoned Partner Sales Enablement Lead to architect and deliver a best-in-class learning program for our 8,000+ external partners. You will be the strategic bridge between Product, Compliance, and Sales-owning the end-to-end training strategy, content creation, and outcome measurement. You will blend instructional design, design-thinking, and hard-nosed sales metrics to turn knowledge into qualified leads and leads into policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Strategy & Program Design:


- Own the annual insurance L&D roadmap, aligning curriculum with product launches, regulatory changes, and quarterly sales goals.

Sales Enablement & Impact Ownership:


- Embed tools, scripts, and calculators that convert training into qualified leads; target a 25% uplift in partner-generated insurance leads within 6 months.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement:


- Own the Insurance Learning & Community Dashboard, tracking KPIs like lead uplift and policy issuance TAT.


- Run A/B experiments and publish quarterly impact reports to leadership.

Community Leadership:


- Launch, moderate, and grow a dedicated online Insurance Community Forum for partners and internal sellers, curating content to drive >70% monthly active participation.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership:


- Partner with Product, Marketing, and Tech to keep all enablement assets up-to-date.


- Mentor a small team of trainers and scale capacity through a Train-the-Trainer programme.

Experience & Skills:

Must-Have:

- 10+ years in insurance L&D with a proven record of turning training into measurable sales uplift.

- Strong analytical mindset-comfortable owning dashboards & OKRs.

- Strategic ability to partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Tech).

- Deep knowledge of IRDAI regulations & distributor channels (MFDs, POSPs).

Nice-to-Have:

- Exposure to wealth-tech / fintech start-ups.

- Design Thinking or LX Design certification.

- Experience building online communities or digital learning assets.

- Leadership DNA

- Quant-driven: Metrics before opinions; you diagnose, test, iterate.

- Builder-Mindset: You own outcomes, not slide decks.

- Strategic Connector: You translate business targets into learning journeys.

What Success Looks Like:

In 3 Months: Completed a comprehensive training needs audit of all internal & partner cohorts.

In 6 Months: Achieved a 25% increase in partner-generated insurance leads vs. the pre-training baseline.

In 12 Months: Grown the active partner base selling insurance by 40%, doubling the overall insurance premium YoY. Established the AssetPlus Insurance Academy as a scalable blended-learning ecosystem.
