Role Overview

We are looking for a high-performing and experienced Senior Manager - Banking/BFSI Software Sales to drive business growth through strategic sales of banking and security-focused IT solutions to Government departments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in enterprise software sales with a sharp understanding of public sector procurement processes and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive sales of Banking and Software Security Solutions in Government departments/ public sector banks/ large private banks, including BFSI-oriented offerings.

- Generate qualified leads through proactive networking, relationship building, and market research.

- Understand and navigate government sales cycles and procurement processes.

- Build relationships with senior government officials and key decision-makers.

- Deliver customized presentations, pitches, and proposals tailored to client needs.

- Manage complete sales lifecycle-from lead generation to proposal submission, contract negotiation, and closure.

- Collaborate closely with internal teams for solution design and client delivery.

- Ensure timely reporting, pipeline management, and achievement of sales targets.

- Act as the single point of contact for all business development initiatives in the assigned territory.

- Prepare detailed technical and budgetary proposals, client communication letters, and related documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: B.E./B.Tech or equivalent from a recognized institute.

- Minimum 8+ years of total experience, with at least 5 years in selling Banking/Financial IT solutions to Government clients.

- Proven track record in solution sales, particularly in the GovTech or BFSI public sector space.

- Strong understanding of Government RFP/tender processes and vendor onboarding procedures.

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage complex sales cycles.

- Ability to travel as required within the region.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to cybersecurity, fraud prevention systems, or digital banking platforms.

- Experience working with police departments or internal security agencies is a plus.

- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales forecasting platforms.
