- Our company is searching for a motivated and experienced Investment Risk Officer to ensure that our investment processes and allied transactions follow all relevant regulatory and internal guidelines. Your duties will include reviewing the existing framework, mapping it against the regulatory guidelines and best industry practices in similar industry and building controls and monitoring the effectiveness. - The ideal candidate will be professional, highly analytical, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. To prosper in this role, you should be self starter, should possess right aptitude in risk management and shall be aware of the latest trends in the AMC risk management industry - Implement and manage an effective, investment and business risk management program. - Perform periodic review and update the Risk Management framework as defined by the Risk and Compliance Committee - Formulate and recommend changes to roles and responsibilities including KRAs relating to risk management activities and place the same for approval with Risk and Compliance Committee - Advise management on the company's compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports. - Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit findings. - Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks inherent to the process. - Assess company operations to determine associated risk which may have impact on the client investments and settlement cycle. - Ensure deep engagement with all the Functional heads on ongoing basis and evaluate larger risks associated to their function - Establish organization wide Risk conscious culture. Qualification Requirements: CA, CFA, CS with Risk Management background. 8 - 10 years' proven experience in an AMC Risk Management & Compliance function - Good knowledge of regulatory requirements and procedures. Preference will be given to those having experience in handling risk management of Mutual Funds, Portfolio Manager, AIF - Brilliant oral and written communication skills. Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
