Team Management role
Job Purpose:
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional/Senior Manager to lead the growth and expansion of our Construction Chemicals Business in business to government Segment.
- Work with Specification Consultants, Key Govt Dept/Ministries to get APL Smart-care brand, Paint and Allied Products included in the specifications.
- Objective will be to generate BOQs with APL specification. Conversion of BOQs to sale needs to be driven in collaboration with the Sales Team.
Business Responsibility Areas:
- Develop and execute strategic Specification plans and drive Conversion in B2G (Business to Government) Segment
- Generate leads through the engagement with Specification Engineers/Consultants and Key Govt Dept Likes Defense, Railways, Ports, Airports, PSUs, etc.
- Drive specifications in government, infrastructure, large factory segments
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key clients, including developers, Key contractors, consultants, architects, government departments, and factories.
- Get the Smart-care Pro brand along with Paint and allied categories included in the BOQs
- Collaborate with Project Sales Field team for converting the Specification/BOQs to sale
- Collaborate with TF/Brands Team to provide customized solutions
- Develop thorough understanding of competition offerings (products, practices & trends) and share the same with the hierarchy
- Working with Key Institutes for collaborative work on the new product development, testing and certification
- Working on Repair-Restoration Model for Large Projects by creating design modules with the team of Structural Engineers
- Lead a team of specialists, creating pathways for them to achieve individual as well as company level goals | Achieve or exceed Specification and Conversion promise and business growth objectives for the for Pan India in B2G Segment.
Experience:
- Experience in business development, sales, or technical roles within the waterproofing, construction chemicals, or building materials industry
- Knowledge of local building codes and industry standards related to waterproofing.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with products such as liquid-applied membranes, bituminous systems, polyurethane, Floor Coatings, Concrete Admixtures and Repair Solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to lead a team.
