Role Identifier :   Job Title Manager - HR Department Learning and Development  Reporting to : Senior Manager  Jobs Reporting Into Officer: HR Location/Unit Vakola  Role Description :  Job Purpose :  Drive learning and development agenda for individuals and functions effectively through initiatives and processes  Primary Responsibilities :   Key Performance Indicators :  Define Learning Goals :  - Initiatives to ensure effective development conversations with employees which result in learning goals for the employees  - Facilitate function heads in creating learning agenda for their functions through conversations  Design Learning Solutions :   - Facilitate learning of employees based on their learning and development goals by creating appropriate learning opportunities  - Design learning solutions as per the learning agenda and implement them effectively  Manage Learning Resources :   - Set and implement policies governing learning resources within the company  - Design and implement initiatives for long term organisation capability building such as internal trainer programme, coaching and facilitation  - Facilitate functions to build learning resources through the use of the LMS,knowledge management, etc.  - Efforts to increase effectiveness of development conversations  - Confidence of business managers in working with the L&D manager  - Effectiveness of learning solutions  - Sustainability of learning initiatives  Others :  - Manage reports and communication to stakeholders  - Manage learning and development budget  - Deploy work to team for delivery, develop employees in team and keep them engaged   - Commercial prudence  - Contribution of the reporting team  Scope of Work :   Financial Scope : Manage spending of 5 Cr. per annum  - People Management  Scope (Range of no. of :  Direct/ Indirect Reports) :  - 1-2 officers report directly  Geography Coverage: (Country-wide/ Statewide / Area-wide)  - Countrywide with support to international units, if required  Corporate Coverage : (Company-wide / Business Unit orFunction-wide / Subfunction- wide / Other) :  - Company-wide with complete responsibility of the managerial cadre  Key Interactions :   Internal :  - General Managers and Chief Managers of functions  - Employees from functions  - HR team for coordination and collaboration  - Accounts team (for accounting)  - IT team (for LMS)  External :   - Vendors  - Consultants  Role Requirements / Specifications  Qualifications :   Essential :  Qualifications :   - Graduation in any field with 10 -12 years of experience in Learning and Development  - MBA from premier B-school : 3 years mandatory experience in Learning and Development
