Job Title: Research Associate - Family Office
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct equity and sector research using fundamental and technical analysis.
- Assist in portfolio monitoring across listed securities, private equity, and real assets.
- Prepare investment memos, pitch decks, and market updates for the investment committee.
- Track macroeconomic trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes impacting portfolio holdings.
- Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions), and scenario planning.
- Assist in due diligence for private deals, including startup, real estate, and alternative investments.
- Maintain and update investment databases, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Liaise with brokers, fund managers, and advisors for market intelligence and deal flow.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, or related field (Master's/CFA/CA preferred).
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment banking, consulting, or asset management.
- Strong financial modelling, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Bloomberg/Capital IQ/Refinitiv is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
- High integrity, discretion, and the ability to work in a confidential environment.
