The ideal candidate would be an MBA from a premier institute, a CA or from the IITs.

Experience with Global KPOs, credit rating agencies or investment research firms is a plus. AsiaCap is an equal opportunities employer.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end credit analysis and due diligence of investment opportunities, including analysis of financial statements, covenants, and bond structures.

- Build, review, and refine complex financial models to assess creditworthiness, valuation, and returns.

- Develop internal credit rating frameworks and prepare detailed investment and rating rationale reports.

- Monitor and update valuation models for portfolio companies and recommend course corrections based on business performance.

- Benchmark financial and operational performance against industry peers and global comparables.

- Stay abreast of market trends, sectoral developments, and regulatory updates relevant to credit and private investments.

- Interact with issuers, external advisors, and internal stakeholders to support informed investment decision-making.

- Lead the development and execution of client engagement and fundraising strategies, targeting HNIs, UHNIs, and wealth advisory platforms. This includes identifying key distribution channels, collaborating with external partners, managing marketing initiatives, and building long-term relationships to drive capital commitments.

Key Requirements:

- 6-10 years of experience in credit analysis, preferably in investment banking, asset management, global KPOs, or rating agencies.

- Strong academic background - MBA (from a premier institute), CA, or degree from IITs or equivalent.

- Proven experience in building and reviewing financial models, drafting credit memo, credit evaluation, and investment memos.

- Strong understanding of bonds, credit structures, and risk assessment methodologies.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Superior communication skills-ability to present findings clearly and persuasively to internal and external stakeholders.

- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
