AsiaCap Investment Advisory Private Ltd provides high quality analytical and business management support to the Hedge Fund and Corporate Finance market. We are looking at the fitment for the post of AVP-Investments to provide advisory and analytics services. The candidate should have an experience of 3 to 5 years and be able to build financial models in excel for credit analysis and investment valuation. Key skills required are financial modelling & Valuation. The job has fixed plus performance-linked compensation with an aggressive career path. A Graduate/ Postgraduate from a premier institute is preferred. JOB ROLE REQUIREMENT: - Analyse financial statements. - Analyse offer documents on bond issuances. - Prepare an excel financial model for credit and valuation analysis. - Analyse past financial and business performance & Benchmark these against peers' performance. - Project future performance of the company. - Build an internal ratings model and prepare reports that cogently capture the rationale behind the rating. - Prepare/update valuation models for all investee / portfolio companies. - Regularly research and refresh public comparable and transactions. - Manage new opportunity pipeline database, including periodic reporting to team of key metrics. - Manage portfolio company and new opportunity company information database to ensure consistent filing of key standing data and monthly information (e.g., board packs). - Over time develop database of competitor investments / exit case studies. SKILL SETS REQUIRED: - Ability to work with limited information, unaudited financials, strategy writeups, meeting notes, transcripts to build a comprehensive investment case. - Adept at handling multiple tasks, logical reasoning, analytical decision-making, and complex problem-solving skills. - Excellent financial modelling skills. - Ability to quickly learn and apply. - Exceptional analytical skills along an ability to articulately convey conclusions. - Ability to collaborate as well as work independently. - Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) - Excellent communication skills in English.
