Job Title : Director - Talent Acquisition

Location : Bangalore /Pune / Hyderabad

Ascendion is seeking a Director - Talent Acquisition to lead and scale our talent strategy for business and corporate functions.

This role requires a strategic leader who can drive high-impact hiring initiatives, build strong stakeholder partnerships, and lead a high-performing recruitment team in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and execute the end-to-end Talent Acquisition strategy for business and corporate functions across Ascendion.

- Build strong partnerships with business leaders to understand workforce needs and translate them into scalable hiring strategies.

- Drive full lifecycle recruitment including sourcing strategy, candidate engagement, interview process optimization, and offer closure.

- Develop and implement data-driven hiring strategies to improve hiring velocity, quality of hire, and candidate experience.

- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing Talent Acquisition team, setting clear goals, KPIs, and performance metrics.

- Establish structured recruitment processes, governance frameworks, and reporting mechanisms to ensure consistency and efficiency.

- Leverage market intelligence and talent insights to identify new sourcing channels and attract diverse, high-quality talent.

- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, employer branding, and talent pipeline development.

- Continuously improve candidate experience, diversity hiring initiatives, and interview frameworks.

- Act as a hands-on leader, supporting critical or niche hiring mandates when required.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 10-15 years of Talent Acquisition experience, with significant exposure to hiring in the IT services / engineering / staffing industry.

- 7+ years of experience leading and mentoring recruitment teams in a high-growth environment.

- Proven track record of building and scaling recruitment strategies for complex and high-volume hiring needs.

- Strong expertise in stakeholder management, workforce planning, and recruitment analytics.

- Experience managing hiring metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, pipeline health, and quality of hire.

- Ability to drive operational excellence and optimize recruitment workflows.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

- Target-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
