Role Name : Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager in L&D,


Role Description :


- Assisting, guiding and monitoring the on-going improvement of employees' skills, enabling them to fulfil their potential within their organisation.


- He/she will be responsible for performing functions such as induction activities, content development for trainings, impart trainings, coordination, Coaching & mentoring, GAP Analysis, Evaluation & Effectiveness on a regular basis. He/she will also be responsible for skills enhancement of members be it staff or associates.


- He / she will also be required to impart training for self-development (soft-skills), technical and process excellence skills enhancement. He/she will be responsible for developing and maintaining Dojo center.


Role purpose - To execute the training in line with the training calendar.


KRA (Key Result Areas):


1. Conduct training programs for various audience groups, as and when required


2. Maintain record of all training related data (Training attendance, participants feedback, pre & post test and other related data).


3. Should be able to create training content based on the inputs shared by the stakeholders


4. Work with subject matter experts on designing training content and delivery. Plan roll out of programs including timelines, target audience and location


5. Arrange training logistics (with support of Operations & Admin staff) and drive delivery of training.


6. Able to identify problems and significantly improve, change or adapt existing methods and techniques


7. Support E&T head in implementing key learning initiatives


KPI (Key Performance Indicators):


- Training plan vs. actuals


- As per decided topics


- Key well defined process KPI's - plan vs. actuals, Plan date vs. actuals


- Training feedback analysis , Training effectiveness analysis, plan vs. actuals, evaluation scores


- Training feedback analysis , Training effectiveness analysis, plan vs. actuals, evaluation scores


- Report generation plan vs. actuals. Timely entry in AISTRS


- Training effectiveness analysis


REQUIREMENTS:


Knowledge - Basic knowledge of 5S, TQM, Quality Circle QCC methodology, 7 QC tools, Should have good knowledge of MS Excel & MS PowerPoint, Google sheet.


Experience : 7 to 10 years as Assistant Manager - Training


Skills :


- Excellent Communication & presentation skills. Time management , considerate and a go -getter, Collaboration Skills, Learning Orientation, Problem Solving/Analysis,Teamwork Orientation.

Keen to assist people with their learning and development , Confident in both written and spoken communication, with the ability to present to large audiences.


- Must be able to understand and speak 2-3 languages of the southern part of India such as Tamil, Kannada, Telugu etc


Qualification :


- Should be a Graduate (BSC/BE/B.tB.Tech)


- An MBA is preferable.


INTERACTION:


With Plant Head, Manufacturing Head, All Key Plant Members - HOD's , Section Heads, Associates, Process Engineers, Supervisors, Line incharge etc. With Corporate Talent Management Team, Talent Development Team


REPORTING TO: E&T - Head


- Expected to travel to other locations for conducting On-Job site trainings


- Expected to manage the training of employees of the GSB plant


- Personal commitment to improving your own knowledge and skills.
