Department: Audit & Assurance.

Reports To: Audit Manager / Partner.

Location: Bangalore, India.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented to join our Audit & Assurance team in Bangalore. The role involves leading audit assignments, preparing accurate financial reports, conducting GST reconciliations, and delivering key MIS insights to clients and management. This is a dynamic position requiring both technical expertise and team collaboration. Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:


- Lead and manage audit engagements, ensuring quality and timely execution of assignments.

- Conduct financial and compliance audits in line with regulatory standards and internal methodologies.

- Review working papers, financial statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to statutory requirements.

- Prepare and analyze GST reconciliation statements, including GSTR-9C filing.

- Perform financial and costing ratio analysis, and identify variances to aid strategic decision-making.

- Deliver periodical MIS reports to clients and internal stakeholders.


- Liaise directly with clients to understand expectations, resolve queries, and build strong relationships.

- Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, audit regulations, and industry best practices.

- Support the development and enhancement of internal audit tools, templates, and documentation standards.

- Provide mentorship and technical support to junior team members.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Mandatory Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA).

Experience:

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in audit and assurance, preferably in a CA firm.

- Solid understanding of audit methodologies, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Exposure to GST reconciliation, particularly GSTR-9C.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit tools/software.

- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as within a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

- Location-specific: Candidate must be based in Bangalore; immediate joiners preferred.
