
Job Description: Manager - Social Impact & Welfare
Role Overview:
As the Manager - Social Impact & Welfare at Arthimpact, you will lead programs that strengthen social welfare, community development, and financial inclusion. You will design people-focused initiatives, support community needs, and work closely with partners, employees, and leadership to ensure our social impact goals create real change on the ground.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop Social Impact, Welfare & Financial Inclusion Strategy:
- Create a clear, actionable strategy that reflects Arthimpact's values and mission.
- Identify community needs and opportunities where we can make a meaningful difference - especially in areas like financial inclusion, digital awareness, livelihood support, education, health, and community development.
- Support programs that help underserved groups access digital finance, financial literacy, and responsible financial services.
2. Design & Implement Programs:
Plan and run welfare, financial inclusion, and community-impact projects such as:
- Financial literacy workshops
- Digital finance awareness camps
- Livelihood and skill-building programs
- Employee volunteering and welfare initiatives
- Lead complete project execution: planning, coordination, budget handling (if required), implementation, monitoring, and closure.
3. Build Partnerships & Engage Stakeholders:
- Work closely with NGOs, community organizations, government departments, and financial inclusion partners.
- Collaborate internally with HR, operations, communications, and leadership to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
- Represent Arthimpact in community meetings, welfare drives, and social impact events.
4. Monitor, Evaluate & Report Impact:
- Track the progress of programs using simple, clear metrics and outcomes.
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership showing the real social and financial impact created.
- Ensure all activities follow ethical, legal, community, and compliance guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Business Administration, Sustainability, or related fields.
- 3-7 years of experience in CSR, social impact, financial inclusion, community development, NGO work, or similar areas.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Good project and stakeholder management abilities.
- A genuine passion for social welfare, community upliftment, and financial empowerment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives with empathy and responsibility.
