
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and engage effectively with financial services regulators, particularly for RBI-registered entities.
- Provide strategic advice on corporate governance practices and ensure compliance with governance norms under applicable laws.
- Oversee the promotion, formation, and incorporation of companies, along with related formalities.
- Responsible for timely filing and registration of documents, returns, and applications on behalf of the company.
- Organize and coordinate Board and General Meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and corporate documents as per legal requirements.
- Conduct Secretarial and Compliance Audits to ensure regulatory alignment.
- Sign Annual Returns and manage certifications, declarations, and attestations as required under the Companies Act.
- Provide legal support and ensure compliance with Corporate Laws, acting as a representative when necessary.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Company Secretary (ACS) - Membership with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India is mandatory.
- Prior experience in a Consumer Finance NBFC is essential.
- Strong understanding of RBI regulations and corporate governance standards.
- Excellent communication and drafting skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity.
