Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Chartered Accountant to join us as an Account Manager / Senior Manager - Finance. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial health, ensuring compliance, supporting audits, and driving improvements in financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background with experience in fintech, NBFC, or digital lending environments.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations: general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, cash/bank reconciliation, and month-end close.

- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Ind-AS and company policies.

- Supervise junior finance team members and coordinate accounting workflows.

Compliance & Regulatory Reporting

- Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements: GST, TDS, Income Tax, RBI/NBFC reporting, ROC filings.

- Prepare and file returns and financial disclosures in coordination with auditors and consultants.

Audits & Internal Controls

- Lead internal and statutory audits by preparing required documentation and resolving audit queries.

- Strengthen internal controls and ensure financial integrity across business units.

MIS & Financial Planning

- Prepare management reports, financial dashboards, and variance analyses.

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling for strategic planning.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks, NBFC partners, and regulatory authorities.

- Collaborate with business, credit, and product teams to ensure accurate financial insights.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-8 years of post-qualification experience.

- Prior experience in fintech, NBFC, lending institutions, or digital finance platforms preferred.

- Strong command of accounting software (Tally, Zoho, or ERP systems).

- Deep understanding of Ind-AS, Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, and RBI guidelines.

- High attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup culture.
