Immediate Joiners The role will be part of Shared Services team under Accounts Payable Tower and will support the operating entities in US. The individual will work with Operating entity's finance team on various Accounts Payable related activities & areas. AP manager will be a key leader and driver, a self-starter and pivotal member of AP team. The person will be playing a critical role in shaping the strategic objectives of the team and driving ownership of key deliverables across the organization. The role will be expected to scale and make process improvements with a high volume of transactions and suppliers while maintaining compliance with internal controls - Serve as end to end owner for accounts payable and T & E claims, including process definition, policies, implementation - Process all invoices and expense claims with 100% accuracy - Resolve supplier billing discrepancies and related escalations - Supervise various areas of accounts payable function including processing vendor invoices, T & E claims, monitoring accounts payable mailbox, etc. - Co-ordinate with internal and external teams to provide oversight for, and to mitigate and prevent aged invoices and debit balances - Ensure vendor statements are reconciled on a monthly basis - Review and analyses data looking for trends, opportunities for improvement and issues which need to be addressed - Manage day to day workload, develop, build on existing processes, define procedures and policies with strong focus on compliance - Develop a continuous improvement ethos to identify process improvement and or business opportunities and communicate with internal leadership team - Maintain a strategic relationship with all business functions and eliminate pain points while representing the Shared services payables team - Provides training and support to Business unit associates and internal teams on the use of ERP systems and processes - Monitoring and driving performance metrics, establish and meet KPI's on a monthly, quarterly and annual performance targets - The successful candidate will demonstrate achievement in driving success, developing, coaching & mentoring team members, exhibit strong interpersonal communication skills and business partnering across all levels within the organization - Support in preparing and delivering business presentations (business reviews, performance reviews) and analyze reports - Drive month close and conduct monthly business review, reconciliation of AP related accounts to ensure complete, accurate and timely financial reporting - Assist in financial audits - Be a subject matter expert for system implementation, engage with technology team to translate business requirement into configurable system requirement - Adopt organizational transformation strategy, lead delivery with a shared vision and transparency and develop a strong team of operational excellence - Support leadership team in driving strategic adhoc projects and enhancements - Experience of reassessing end to end processes and reduction of bottlenecks 3. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE - 8+ years of managing 10-15 employees with relevant experience in Accounts Payable - Working knowledge of procurement function and with vendors to increase engagement and reduce friction - Hands-on experience in accounting ERP - NetSuite is preferable - Six sigma/ lean certified - Ability to utilize information from a wide variety of sources - High motivation and enthusiasm to learn. Experience of working in a startup service center organization will be a plus. - Experience working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally - Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must - Needs to consistently demonstrate initiative and work well in a team environment. - Must be able to make critical decisions and use judgment while following company procedures to solve problems. - Must be able to work on multiple projects concurrently and complete work within given deadlines. - US ET Shift working (6 pm to 3 am IST) with some stretch during peak days Preference Immediate joiner only
