ARGA - Global ESG Role (Sustainability) We are seeking experienced individuals in the field of ESG/Sustainability reporting and investing to drive ARGA's capabilities as an ESG investment thought leader. You will be a subject matter expert at ARGA on global ESG matters, including regulatory and reporting developments, ESG scoring methodologies, key ESG trends affecting global investment industries and the companies ARGA invests in. You are an excellent communicator and are able to convey ARGA's ESG investment approach orally and in written form. You are familiar with international sustainability organizations such as UNPRI, TCFD, UN Global Compact and can provide regular reporting to these as well as in line with their guidance. You are motivated by adding value to ARGA's investment process, investment returns and client servicing efforts. The role is based in either of ARGA's Chennai or Mumbai offices. Role Requirements : - Excellent academic credentials (MBA preferred) - 1-3 years relevant industry experience - Unquestionable integrity - Strong ESG background and interest in business analysis - Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills - Experience with ESG/sustainability reporting and scoring preferable - Comfort with specialization and lack of traditional corporate hierarchy Role Responsibilities : - Preparation of ESG reporting for ARGA client reports, Requests for Proposals and international sustainability organizations - Oversee reporting for ARGA ESG dedicated funds - Develop proprietary ARGA ESG scoring methodology - Support ARGA research team with ESG research at company and industry level - Develop of ARGA ESG policies and integration of ESG in investment management research - Drive the ESG agenda at ARGA including identification and implementation of business development opportunities Compensation : Compensation will be highly competitive for the right professional with ability and desire to take on significant global responsibilities About ARGA : ARGA Investment Management, LP is an independent investment management firm focused on global equities.
