Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead and expand our steel business across the South India region. The role involves managing key accounts, channel partners, and distributors while driving revenue growth and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute sales strategies for the South India market.

- Manage and grow relationships with dealers, distributors, and key customers.

- Achieve sales targets, volume growth, and market share objectives.

- Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.

- Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

- Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures.

- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 4-8 years of experience in sales/business development within the steel industry.

- Strong knowledge of steel products, channels, and regional markets in South India.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large territories.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

- Willingness to travel extensively across the region.

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
