Area Sales Manager (ASM) Generic Division

Job Summary:
SRK PureMeds is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) for our Generic Pharmaceuticals Division.
The ASM will play a critical role in driving regional sales growth, leading a field sales team, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding market share across our comprehensive generic product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Drive sales of SRK PureMeds extensive generic product range across therapeutic segments such as Pain / Analgesics, Antivirals, Gastrointestinal, Respiratory, Anti-infectives, Vitamins / Minerals, Nutrients, Cardiac, Antimalarial, Dermatology, Gynaecology, Anti-diabetic, Hormones, Blood-related, Ophthalmological / Otological, Stomatological, Urology.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Ensure effective execution of marketing strategies in the assigned area.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives (MRs) / Territory Executives.
- Ensure effective territory coverage, daily reporting, and productivity.
- Conduct regular training sessions to build product knowledge and selling skills.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals including doctors, chemists, distributors, and stockists.
- Resolve queries and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Field Operations:
- Conduct joint fieldwork with team members to support sales efforts.
- Monitor and review team performance regularly.
- Ensure adherence to company sales processes and compliance guidelines.
Market Intelligence:
- Track and analyze competitor activities and local market trends.
- Share actionable insights with management for strategic planning.
Requirements:
Education:
- Any Graduate (Masters in Sales & Distribution, Business Administration, or Healthcare Management preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical sales (Generic Division preferred).
- At least 1 year in a team-leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of the local market.
