- We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager for the Loan Against Property (LAP) segment to be based in Udaipur.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and achieving targets within the assigned area by effectively sourcing and managing the LAP loan portfolio.
- This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of the financial market, exceptional sales and relationship management skills, and a proven track record in the LAP or mortgage sector.
- Sales & Business Development - Lead Generation and Sourcing: Proactively source high-quality LAP loan proposals through a variety of channels, including direct cold calling, structured client visits, participation in seminars/trade fairs, and networking with real estate agents and intermediaries.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed the assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets (budgeted numbers) for both volume and value of disbursements.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct regular, ongoing market and competitor analysis.
- Continuously update self with market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities and devise effective sales strategies.
- Product Fitment & Advisory: Accurately understand the customer's financial profile and business profitability to recommend the most suitable LAP product, thereby ensuring customer satisfaction and high-quality portfolio growth.
- Process Management & Underwriting Support - Proposal Management: Thoroughly recommend the loan proposal by preparing a comprehensive note that clearly highlights the strengths and mitigating factors of the application for the credit team's review.
- Turnaround Time (TAT) Management: Strictly adhere to and monitor the Turnaround Time (TAT) from login to disbursement to ensure a smooth, efficient, and timely service experience for the customer.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain cordial relations with all internal and external stakeholders (including Credit, Operations, and Legal teams) to ensure seamless processing and superior client servicing.
- Portfolio & Relationship Management - Client Relationship Monitoring: Actively monitor the client relationship post-disbursement, specifically tracking the payment schedule and ensuring timely collections to maintain a healthy portfolio quality.
- Marketing & Visibility: Execute local-level marketing activities and business development initiatives within the designated area to enhance brand visibility and generate strong leads.
- Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities and cross-sell other relevant financial products (e. , insurance, business loans, other retail assets) to existing LAP customers to deepen the relationship and increase revenue per client.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 6 to 10 years of total work experience, with a significant part of that experience in sales of Loan Against Property (LAP), Mortgage Loans, or Home Loans within a Bank, NBFC, or Housing Finance Company (HFC).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline is mandatory; an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
