Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Target Achievement:
- Deliver assigned sales targets and revenue growth for your area.
- Run weekly and monthly sales funnels, track conversions, and forecast sales.
- Ensure achievement of both volume and profitability goals - not one at the expense of the other.
Customer & Channel Management:
- Build and manage distributor, dealer, General trade,
- Hold partners accountable - pricing, stock levels, placement, payment cycles.
- Drive territory expansion by activating new outlets and securing preferred vendor status.
Planning & Execution:
- Create territory action plans: budgets, sales forecasts, promotional calendars.
- Activate local promotional schemes and visibility campaigns with measurable KPIs.
- Organize periodic product training and sell-in sessions with dealer networks.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and motivate your direct sales team / field officers.
- Conduct performance reviews and set actionable improvement plans.
- Hold field team to standards - punctuality, reporting discipline, territory coverage.
Market Intelligence:
- Monitor competitive activity and product movements in your region.
- Provide timely insights into pricing shifts, new launches by rivals, and channel feedback.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare robust MIS: sales performance, pipeline quality, forecasting variance.
- Ensure process compliance: approvals, claims, returns, credit limits, expense controls.
