Role Overview:
As an Area Sales Manager in Nigeria, you will serve as the primary driver of our commercial footprint, orchestrating sales operations across a designated territory. Your day-to-day involves navigating the complexities of the local market, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring our product availability remains superior across all retail touchpoints. You will collaborate closely with regional leadership, supply chain teams, and key retail partners to align sales strategies with shifting market dynamics. Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute territory-specific sales strategies to achieve aggressive revenue targets and expand our market penetration.
- Manage and optimize the distribution network by identifying high-potential partners and ensuring consistent stock availability to meet consumer demand.
- Lead key account management initiatives by building long-term relationships with major retailers and wholesalers to secure premium shelf space and visibility.
- Conduct rigorous sales planning and performance analysis to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks within the regional sales funnel.
- Drive business development efforts by scouting for new market segments and untapped geographical pockets to ensure sustainable year-on-year growth.
- Mentor and supervise field sales teams to ensure adherence to company standards, sales processes, and customer service excellence.
