Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations for a defined territory. The role involves driving revenue growth, managing distributor networks, achieving sales targets, and executing business plans in alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage sales operations for assigned products and territory

- Achieve sales targets as per Annual Operating Plan

- Sales planning, forecasting, and budgeting

- Expand distribution reach (depth & width) to drive revenue growth

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors

- Coordinate with marketing teams for BTL activities and promotions

- Monitor market trends and competitor activities

- Train, develop, and motivate sales teams

- Track distributor performance, stock levels, and SKU availability

- Recruit new wholesale and retail customers

- Ensure effective execution of sales and call plans

- Manage and control company sales assets and resources

Desired Candidate Profile

- MBA graduate with minimum 2+ years of FMCG/FMCD sales experience

- Strong analytical and data-handling skills

- Proficient in sales analytics, reporting, and presentations

- Excellent customer relationship and stakeholder management skills

- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong decision-making ability

- Tech-savvy, agile, and result-oriented

- Confident communicator with leadership capabilities
