Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM) - Kitchen Appliances

Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead and manage sales operations in the assigned territory for our kitchen appliances category. The ASM will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing a robust dealer/distributor network, managing key retail accounts, and ensuring excellent market execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for kitchen appliances in the assigned territory.
- Develop and manage a network of dealers, distributors, and retailers.
- Plan and execute sales promotions, product demos, and in-store activities.
- Ensure visibility, merchandising, and availability of products in retail outlets.
- Handle primary and secondary sales tracking and reporting.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide actionable market intelligence.
- Train and support distributor sales teams and retail staff.
- Resolve channel partner issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team for brand-building activities at the ground level.
- Conduct periodic reviews with channel partners and internal teams.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in FMCG, consumer durables, or kitchen/home appliances sales.
- Strong network and knowledge of the regional retail/distribution ecosystem.
- Proficient in sales data analysis, forecasting, and territory planning.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
