Description:

- As the Area sales Manager for a the brand, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing operations, and ensuring the overall performance of the brand in the assigned state.


- Your primary objective will be to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets, increase market share, and strengthen the brand's presence in the region while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Planning:

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve the states sales targets, market share, and revenue growth.

- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends.

- Design and implement action plans to improve sales performance in low-performing areas.

Team Management:

- Lead and manage a team of Area Sales Managers, Territory Managers, and Sales Executives across the state.

- Set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to the team.

- Monitor and review the performance of the sales team, ensuring achievement of targets and professional development.

Channel & Distributor Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders in the state.

- Ensure efficient distribution networks and timely supply chain operations.

- Resolve any distributor issues and ensure proper product placement and visibility.

Business Development:

- Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, and product developments.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop localized promotional strategies, campaigns, and events to drive brand awareness and sales.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure that all sales activities comply with the state's liquor licensing laws and regulations.

- Coordinate with the legal team to handle any regulatory matters and maintain good relationships with local authorities.

Market Intelligence:

- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and consumer preferences.

- Provide insights and feedback to the marketing and product development teams to enhance product offerings and market positioning.

Financial Management:

- Prepare and manage the states budget for sales and marketing activities.

- Ensure profitability and control costs in line with the approved budget.
