About the Role:

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Area Sales Manager with 5+ years of experience, specifically within the Agritech or Drone Industry, to lead sales operations across the Punjab region.

This leadership role requires a hands-on approach to achieving ambitious sales targets, developing strong distribution networks, and effectively managing a team of Sales Officers to expand the company's customer base and market presence in agricultural technology.

Responsibilities:

- Sales Strategy & Target Achievement: Take full ownership of the region's sales goals, develop comprehensive daily and monthly sales activity plans for Sales Officers, and consistently strive towards achieving sales targets.

- Business Development & Distribution: Utilize proven capability to develop new distribution networks by actively appointing new dealers and distributors while simultaneously managing and optimizing the performance of the existing distribution network.

- Client Engagement & Product Demonstration: Schedule and conduct impactful sales visits with prospective clients (farmers, large estates, or agricultural businesses) and deliver compelling product demonstrations of drone and related agritech solutions.

- Negotiation and Contracts: Lead negotiations on complex sales contracts and actively design attractive sales packages and financing options tailored to client needs and market dynamics.

- Team Leadership & Monitoring: Manage, support, and drive the regional sales team, providing coaching and mentorship.

- Implement a rigorous process for daily monitoring of sales progress, focusing on key metrics like lead generation, customer meetings, and sales closures.

- Reporting & Administration: Maintain precise and detailed sales and performance records (CRM hygiene), and handle general administration and team management duties for the sales unit.

- Market Expansion: Strategize and execute plans to expand the company's customer base and ensure a strong market presence by adopting new, effective sales and outreach strategies.

- Marketing & Representation: Represent the company professionally by participating in relevant trade exhibitions, conferences, and industry events across the region.

Requirements:

- Experience: 5+ years of progressive sales and team management experience, with mandatory tenure within the Agritech or Drone Industry.

- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the agricultural sector, farming practices, and the technical application of drone technology (e.g., spraying, mapping, surveying).

- Sales Leadership: Proven track record of successfully managing and motivating a sales team, driving process adherence, and consistently achieving revenue targets.

- Distribution Management: Demonstrable experience in the end-to-end process of appointing and managing multi-tiered dealer/distributor networks.

- Negotiation Skills: Exceptional skills in B2B contract negotiation and packaging complex technical solutions.

- Regional Expertise: Strong working knowledge of the Punjab region's agricultural market and business landscape
