Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
- Drive tractor sales through the dealership network and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement territory-wise sales strategies to maximize market share.
- Monitor retail sales performance and undertake corrective measures to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure effective execution of sales plans and promotional campaigns.
Dealer Network Management:
- Manage dealer performance and monitor primary, secondary, and retail sales activities.
- Develop new dealerships in potential markets and strengthen relationships with existing dealers.
- Assess dealer capabilities and implement initiatives to improve productivity and profitability.
- Conduct regular dealer reviews and business planning sessions.
Market Development:
- Identify untapped markets and opportunities for business expansion.
- Plan and execute local marketing initiatives, farmer outreach programs, demonstrations, roadshows, and promotional activities.
- Build strong relationships with farmers, influencers, rural entrepreneurs, and institutional customers.
- Increase brand visibility and customer engagement across the territory.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure a superior customer experience throughout the sales journey.
- Coordinate with service teams to facilitate seamless after-sales support.
- Address customer concerns and improve customer satisfaction and retention levels.
- Gather customer feedback and provide inputs for product enhancement.
Market Intelligence:
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and new product launches.
- Analyze customer requirements and changing market dynamics.
- Provide actionable insights to management for strategic decision-making.
- Support the introduction of new products and business initiatives.
Financing & Rural Ecosystem Management:
- Collaborate with banks, NBFCs, and financing partners to facilitate tractor financing solutions.
- Develop relationships with financial institutions to improve retail financing penetration.
- Promote financing schemes and customer-centric initiatives to drive sales conversions.
- Maintain awareness of government schemes and agricultural subsidy programs.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate field sales teams to achieve business goals.
- Track individual and team performance through defined KPIs.
- Conduct training and capability-building initiatives for dealer sales personnel.
- Foster a performance-driven and customer-centric culture.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Tractor or Agricultural Equipment dealership sales.
- Proven expertise in dealer development, channel management, and territory sales.
- Strong understanding of rural markets, farmer buying behavior, and financing ecosystems.
