Role Summary


The Area Project Manager will oversee and manage multiple store projects across South India, specifically focusing on store openings and renovations - from Warehouse-Cum-Distribution (WCD) centers to High On The Value Matrix (HOTVM) stores for both Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) and Company Owned Franchise Operated (COFO) formats. The role requires coordination with registered vendors, scheduling, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring projects meet quality and timeline standards.

Key Responsibilities


- Manage end-to-end store openings, renovations, and maintenance projects including vendor selection, scheduling, site visits, and project documentation.


- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and registered vendors to ensure timely and quality project execution within predefined timelines (target: 39 days per project).


- Supervise quality control, repair and maintenance activities, snag identification, and resolution processes.


- Facilitate vendor development and relationship management to ensure adherence to service level agreements and cost controls.


- Conduct regular project status reporting and risk assessments to senior management.


- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during project execution.

Required Qualifications & Experience


- 5 to 7 years of project management experience ideally within retail, apparel, or fashion industries.


- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, including store openings and renovations.


- Strong vendor management and stakeholder coordination skills.


- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.


- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment ensuring consistent project delivery within tight deadlines.


- Basic knowledge of budgeting, procurement, and contract management.
