Role Summary:
- The Area Manager will manage regional sales operations, ensure revenue targets, and maintain strong channel relationships.
- The role is focused on product sales and store-level management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily sales operations across assigned territories.
- Drive product sales, store performance, and channel growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
- Conduct market research, competitor tracking, and territory mapping.
- Train and mentor frontline sales staff and promote performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with company sales processes, audits, and reporting.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in product sales, channel sales, and territory management
- Ability to manage store operations and field sales teams
- Good communication, analytical, and negotiation abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in FMCG, retail, electronics, or consumer goods
- Proficiency with CRM and sales automation tools
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- MBA/PGDM in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage
