Area Manager - Sales - Cables & Switchgear

We are hiring for an Individual Contributor (IC) role in a leading electrical equipment company, focused on B2B industrial sales of Cables & Switchgear.

Position: Area Manager - Sales (Cables & Switchgear)

Location: Mumbai

Industry: Electrical Equipment - Cables & Switchgear

Qualification: B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Experience: Minimum 5 Years (B2B Sales - IC Role)

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle B2B sales of LV/MV cables, control cables, and industrial switchgear products.

- Develop business with OEMs, panel builders, EPCs, and industrial clients.

- Lead the entire sales cycle - from lead generation to deal closure.

- Prepare proposals, conduct technical meetings, and negotiate commercials.

- Achieve sales targets and provide excellent after-sales support.

Requirements:

- B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (must)

- 5+ years of proven B2B experience in cables and switchgear sales

- In-depth knowledge of industrial switchgear & power distribution systems

- Strong negotiation, communication, and client-handling skills

- Based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai
