Area Collections Manager - Education Loan

Position: Area Collections Manager - Education Loan Department (Banking/NBFC)

Location: Ahmedabad and Delhi

Notice Period : Immediate to 60 Days

Qualifications & Experience:

- Graduate in any field. Post-graduation/MBA preferred.

- Minimum 8 - 10 years experience in collections.

- Goal orientation, working effectively with the teams, interpersonal and influencing skills to manage customers effectively

- Proven track record of achieving deadlines and help in target achievement for the company.

- Excellent oral & written communication skills in English as well as the local language (If any).

Key roles and responsibilities:

- To strategize and implement plans to achieve GOAL for the region. Liasoning with external vendors including Legal for driving productivity.

- Visit critical cases for resolution and collection. Lead the team from the front by visiting critical and high value customers.

- Need to co-ordinate with Credit, Ops, & Sales Dept and to solve the queries of delinquent customers if any.

- Recruit, hire, train and evaluate staff members within the collections department to ensure a sufficient number of staff members are available to handle the workload

- To ensure the Team adheres to policy and regulatory framework

- To solve the query of delinquent customers and need to get the EMI from him on regular monthly basis.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.

- Ensure adherence to prudent social and legal norms during customer interactions

- Run reports and analyze data pertaining to the department and share with executive staff and managers of department staff as needed.

- To provide timely feedback/updates for concerns which can have an impact on the organization financially or regulatory requirement

- Need experience in handling hard bucket from (DPD 60 - DPD 180) & further write off in unsecured & Secured product.

- Fully through Excel knowledge with proper MIS & feedback files need to send on daily basis.

- Knowledge of Unsecured & Secured business and legal knowledge needs to be must.

- Should possess Human, Analytical and Conceptual skills.
