About the role:

We are looking for an exceptionally talented individual to join the Product Management Group in our Hyderabad or Gurgaon office. This group is responsible for working with technology teams throughout the process lifecycle to specify, develop, and implement the firms' infrastructure and new middle- and back-office applications.

This position offers the opportunity to define and design the next generation of products on our platform, which is used by some of the most sophisticated hedge funds in the world, and to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry.

What you'll do:

- Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for financial reporting solutions aligning with overall company goals and market opportunities.

- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and client feedback gathering to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, and new product opportunities within the financial reporting space.

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on strategic value, market demand, and technical feasibility.

- Work closely with the engineers and architects to translate the Product Specification to design, and then to the product itself.

- Rigorously and continuously evaluate the progress of product or feature in-flight by leveraging the created test cases and beds and ensure compliance to the product or feature specification and the vision.

- Be involved in conducting competitor analysis.

- Articulate business cases, estimate timelines and budgets and communicate with all stakeholders, prepare project plans, release notes, etc.

- Work with other product managers for projects cutting across multiple business areas to provide comprehensive business solutions.

What you'll need:

- 6+ years of overall experience working and minimum 2+ year experience in product management.

- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting for hedge funds or other alternative asset managers.

- In-depth knowledge of financial instruments, accounting principles, Fund accounting and regulatory requirements specific to hedge funds.

- Proficiency in Excel along with strong analytical skills to mine counterparty statements.

- Experience in working closely with engineering teams.

- Outstanding academic background and passion to work in a high-tech software development environment.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Critical thinking and the ability to articulate standpoints or ideas and influence stakeholders.

- Ability to multitask and manage multiple lines of execution with attention to detail and quality.

- A high level of personal maturity and a collaborative attitude.
