About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Controller to manage day-to-day financial operations, reporting, accounting, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial controls, along with good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations.

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.

- Prepare and review bank, ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations.

- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Monitor cash flows and working capital requirements.

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other external stakeholders.

- Establish and maintain appropriate financial controls and processes.

- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen financial accuracy and efficiency.

- Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions.

- Work closely with internal teams to resolve finance and accounting-related queries.

What We're Looking For:

- 2 - 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Controllership, or a related function.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Hands-on experience with general ledger, reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial analysis.

- Good knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.

- Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Tally, or similar platforms.

- Understanding of statutory compliance and taxation processes.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines.

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- CA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com or equivalent qualification.

- Experience in a structured corporate finance environment.

- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and audit processes.
