Description:


Responsibilities:


- Identify opportunities to prospect client contact with Agrochemical & Safety Assessment companies (both prospective and current clients of company).


- This role focusses on EU and India, hence experience in selling Agrochemical & Safety Assessment services in these territories is a must.


- Respond to client inquiries and provide information including cost estimates and timelines in response to inquiries.


- Manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously.


- Advocate within the company on the clients behalf.


- Visit prospective clients and present information regarding the agrochemical & safety assessment capabilities required for preclinical and clinical programs to obtain new business, and promptly submit trip reports.


- Coordinate appointments with clients as needed to expand the growth of the business.


- Identify prospective clients and win their business.


- Partner with clients and in-house scientific experts to recommend solutions to a wide range of safety assessment study requirements.


- Coordinate internal project teams to support client requests and anticipated business needs.


- Contribute to developing and executing strategies that will increase the efficiency of the Client Services team by working with fellow group members as a team.


Qualification & Job Requirements :


- Masters or higher degree with 6-10 years related experience and/or training in the biotech, agro chemical or preclinical CRO industry.


- Mandatory 5-8 years experience in front end Business Development in offering agro chemical and or safety assessment services to pharma, biotech and crop protection industries.


- Strong understanding of safety assessment requirements for pharma (-small and large molecules), Crop protection, chemical industries.


- Understanding of non-GLP, GLP and AAALAC requirements for such drug safety assessment solutions, and REACH requirements for chemical industries.


- Good understanding of the analytical and bio analytical requirements to support these safety assessment studies.


- Good understanding of the data requirements required for product registration of agrochemical industry product chemistry, ecotoxicology and regulatory toxicology studies.


- Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously.
