Role Description for Content Manager.

Responsibilities.

- Conduct in-depth research within the devotional, mythology, and spiritual space to create rich, meaningful content.

- Lead and manage a team of in-house and freelance content writers, editors, and content contributors.

- Develop and execute monthly and seasonal editorial calendars aligned with marketing campaigns.

- Plan and oversee the creation of content formats like eBooks, infographics, quizzes, and marketing copy in both English and Hindi.

- Set and maintain quality benchmarks for all published content; implement effective editing processes.

- Review and approve articles for cohesiveness, originality, and alignment with brand voice.

- Ensure all content is SEO-friendly and optimized for engagement across digital platforms.

- Collaborate with design, product, and marketing teams to align content strategy with business goals.

- Use content analytics and user insights to refine content performance and improve outcomes.

- Manage timelines, resource planning, and content pipelines for timely publishing.

- Mentor junior writers, provide structured feedback, and build scalable team processes.

Requirements.

- 8+ years of professional experience in content writing/editing, preferably in digital publishing or devotional/spiritual domains.

- Strong leadership and team management skills ability to guide, mentor, and grow a content team.

- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in both English and Hindi.

- Deep interest in Indian culture, mythology, and spirituality.

- Experience in setting up scalable content operations and workflows.

- Strong understanding of SEO, content analytics, and content performance tools.

- Highly process-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment.
