Role Overview
The Head of Marketing will be a strategic leader responsible for shaping and driving the marketing vision of the organization. The role demands not only a deep understanding of B2B technology marketing but also strong leadership to guide the team towards achieving measurable growth in branding, market presence, and lead generation.
This position requires a mature professional who can balance strategic planning with execution excellence, and act as a trusted advisor to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Position the company as a trusted leader in IT services and product innovation.
- Build scalable marketing processes, systems, and frameworks.
- Act as a senior stakeholder, working closely with leadership on GTM strategies.
Branding & Communication
- Strengthen corporate brand identity and reputation globally.
- Ensure all marketing communications reflect a mature and consistent brand voice.
- Develop high-quality marketing assets, PR campaigns, and thought-leadership content.
Demand Generation & Market Growth
- Design and oversee lead generation and customer acquisition strategies.
- Ensure alignment of marketing with sales to drive pipeline growth.
- Leverage data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and ROI.
Product & Service Marketing
- Lead marketing for both software products and IT services.
- Create impactful GTM strategies for new launches.
- Identify emerging trends and competitive opportunities.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and empower a team of 67 marketing professionals (content, digital, design/UIUX).
- Build a culture of accountability, creativity, and performance.
- Upskill and coach team members to drive long-term career growth.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Tech, UIUX) to ensure unified brand messaging.
- Represent the company at industry events, panels, and client meetings.
- Forge partnerships that enhance brand visibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven expertise in IT/SaaS/software development industry (products & services).
- Strong background in strategic marketing, brand management, and digital growth.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading marketing teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Mature, steady, and able to drive clarity in uncertain situations.
- Bangalore-based (mandatory).
