Education: MBBS + MBA with 15+ years experience in Hospital Operations.

Individual will be responsible for hospital's strategic, operational, and financial agenda. The incumbent will be fully accountable for the hospital's P&L, clinical outcomes, stakeholder relationships, and expansion of service lines. The role demands a strong mix of strategic vision, operational discipline, clinical engagement, and market-driven growth mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

P&L Ownership & Financial Performance:

- Full accountability for the hospital's profit & loss, cost controls, and revenue performance

- Monitor KPIs and drive financial sustainability while ensuring clinical excellence

- Identify and implement new revenue opportunities, including high-margin specialties and premium services

Strategic Planning & Business Growth:

- Develop and execute a long-term strategy aligned with organizational goals

- Explore new lines of business including day-care units, diagnostics, wellness, or outreach services

- Lead hospital expansion, digital initiatives, and service differentiation

Clinical & Medical Engagement:

- Partner closely with clinical leadership to maintain high standards of patient care

- Drive medical audits, clinical excellence programs, and quality accreditations (e.g., NABH, JCI)

- Attract and retain top consultants and specialists

Operational Excellence:

- Ensure smooth functioning of hospital operations including infrastructure, manpower, and systems

- Improve patient experience, process efficiency, and turnaround times

- Lead the hospital's digital transformation and adoption of healthcare technologies

Team & Culture Building:

- Lead and mentor department heads and functional leaders

- Build a performance-driven and patient-centric culture

- Ensure regulatory compliance, HR practices, and talent development

Stakeholder & Community Engagement:

- Represent the hospital to regulatory bodies, insurance providers, corporate clients, and media

- Engage with local community and CSR initiatives to enhance brand reputation

Key Competencies:

- Strategic thinking with sharp business acumen

- Deep understanding of hospital operations and clinical functions

- Demonstrated P&L and turnaround experience

- Strong leadership, negotiation, and people management skills

- Ability to drive change and innovation
