Role Overview:

The National Program Manager, Cardiology will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and management of cardiology-related programs and initiatives across the Apollo Hospitals network. This role involves collaborating with cardiologists, hospital administrators, and other stakeholders to enhance the quality of cardiac care, drive innovation, and improve patient outcomes. The National Program Manager will play a crucial role in standardizing protocols, implementing best practices, and ensuring the delivery of consistent, high-quality cardiac services across all Apollo Hospitals locations. This position is based in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement national cardiology programs and initiatives in alignment with Apollo Hospitals' strategic objectives to improve cardiac care delivery.

- Collaborate with cardiologists and hospital administrators across the network to standardize clinical protocols and best practices for cardiac procedures and treatments.

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of cardiology programs, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance patient outcomes.

- Lead the development and delivery of training programs for cardiology staff to ensure competence and adherence to established protocols, ultimately improving the quality of care.

- Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of cardiology programs, maximizing the impact of available resources.

- Identify and evaluate new technologies and innovations in cardiology, recommending their adoption to enhance the capabilities of Apollo Hospitals' cardiac services.

- Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, industry partners, and regulatory bodies to stay abreast of the latest advancements and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

- Prepare and present reports on the performance of cardiology programs to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.

- Drive research and innovation in cardiology, supporting clinical trials and studies to advance the understanding and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines in the delivery of cardiology services, maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic healthcare programs, improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including physicians, administrators, and external partners.

- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to drive performance improvements in healthcare settings.

- Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

- Deep understanding of cardiology practices, protocols, and emerging technologies, enabling informed decision-making and program development.

- Excellent project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor complex projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in the face of challenges.

- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in healthcare management, with a focus on cardiology, is essential.

- A Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
