Business Development Lead - Healthcare Solutions (Recruitment & Education)
Location: Chennai (Field-based)
Reports To: Head - ASC & GWD
Working Days: 6 per week

Job Purpose:
The role involves to build institutional partnerships, formulate, execute sales strategies, and manage end-to-end BD processes for both recruitment and education portfolios and to drive revenue growth for two strategic verticals under Apollo Group:
- Domestic Recruitment Services (GWD - India)
- Simulation-based Medical Education Programs (ASC)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic BD plans for recruitment and simulation portfolios.
- Identify and acquire new institutional clients (hospitals, medical colleges, training centers).
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, proposals, pricing, and contract closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Drive institutional tie-ups, MoUs, and partnerships for both service lines.
- Represent Apollo Knowledge at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
- Collaborate with internal teams for program delivery and client satisfaction.
- Ensure brand visibility through marketing initiatives and thought leadership.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate in Business/Healthcare Management; MBA preferred.
- 8-12 years of experience in BD roles within healthcare staffing, education, or skilling.
- Strong institutional network and ability to manage dual portfolios.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with analytical acumen and ability to deliver results.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
KPIs & Performance Metrics:
- Revenue Targets: Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue goals across both portfolios.
- Client Acquisition: Number of new institutional partnerships signed.
- Pipeline Health: Maintain a robust pipeline with accurate forecasting.
- Conversion Rate: Ratio of proposals to closed deals.
- Cross-Selling: Instances of leveraging recruitment clients for simulation courses and vice versa.
- Customer Satisfaction: Feedback scores from institutional partners.
- Travel & Coverage: Number of client visits and events attended per month.
