About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and analytics-driven Business Analyst (Assistant Manager) with a strong background in real estate, construction, or infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in project analytics, supply chain optimization, equipment/machinery operations data, and business intelligence tools. This role requires the ability to translate operational data into actionable insights to enhance project performance, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analytics & Business Intelligence:

- Analyze and interpret large datasets from ERP systems, IoT devices, and operational dashboards.

- Build predictive and forecasting models (e.g., equipment availability, procurement planning, maintenance forecasting).

- Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI/Tableau for real-time visibility of KPIs such as utilization, downtime, OEE, cost metrics, and project progress.

- Perform root-cause analysis and risk assessment using analytical/statistical techniques.

Project & Operations Analytics:

- Evaluate project KPIs such as schedule adherence, asset utilization, fuel consumption, maintenance turnaround time, procurement lead time, and overall project efficiency.

- Support project teams with data-backed insights to reduce schedule overruns and improve execution quality.

- Collaborate with plant & machinery teams to optimize lifecycle management through data-driven strategies.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Projects, Operations, Planning, SCM, Finance) to define reporting needs and develop analytics frameworks.

Supply Chain & Procurement Analytics:

- Design demand-forecasting models and procurement planning dashboards to reduce emergency orders.

- Conduct spend analysis, vendor performance evaluation, and sourcing analytics to support SCM strategies.

- Optimize material/inventory management through data modeling and trend analysis.

Predictive & Preventive Maintenance:

- Work with IoT/telemetry data to build predictive maintenance models, improving uptime and reducing equipment failures.

- Analyze machinery health data to recommend preventive maintenance schedules and enhance asset reliability.

Reporting & Business Insights:

- Prepare management-level reports, MIS, and presentations summarizing insights, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.

- Provide actionable insights to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.

- Identify automation opportunities for existing reporting and operational processes.

Skills & Qualifications:

- 5-10 years of experience in Business Analytics, Operations Analytics, or Project Analytics roles.

- Strong background in Real Estate / Construction / Infrastructure / EPC industry is preferred.

- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python/Excel, and data modeling.

- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and familiarity with IoT-based data is an added advantage.

- Strong understanding of project management, plant & machinery operations, supply chain, maintenance, and cost optimization.

- Ability to communicate insights clearly through reports, dashboards, and presentations.

- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach and eye for detail.
