Position Title: Revenue Operations Analyst

Reports to: Senior Manager, Revenue Operations

Team: GTM Operations & Enablement

Location: Noida, India

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Revenue Operations Analyst to own both sides of Salesforce: the integrity of the data going in and the reporting coming out.

You will build the reports and dashboards that Sales, Business Development, Finance, and leadership run on, and keep the underlying data accurate so those numbers are trusted.

This is a hands-on analyst role - we expect you to answer the question behind the request, not just deliver the number.

The position reports to the Senior Manager of Revenue Operations and works daily with Marketing, Business Development, Sales, and Finance.

Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain Salesforce reports, custom reports, and dashboards for frontline reps, managers, and executives

- Own recurring funnel reporting - Lead to MQL to SAL to SQL conversion, speed-to-lead, stage progression, and pipeline creation - with documented, consistent metric definitions

- Analyze Business Development activity (outreach, response times, meeting conversion) and marketing-sourced lead quality - surface trends, outliers, and recommended actions

- Build analysis beyond native Salesforce reporting using Excel models, SQL queries, and BI dashboards

- Reconcile data across Salesforce, HubSpot, and the sales engagement stack to ensure one source of truth

- Turn ad hoc questions from Sales, Marketing, and Finance leadership into repeatable reporting with documented methodology

- Calculate monthly commissions and commission statements from Salesforce data

- Perform cohort and trend analysis (retention/expansion by segment, YoY, seasonality) and detect anomalies using statistical methods

- Evaluate data quality before analysis - identify root causes vs. symptoms and drive ambiguous metric definitions to precise, documented terms

- Build decision frameworks with trade-offs, run scenario/what-if modeling, and redirect stakeholders when the wrong analysis is requested

- Break down complex problems into the right data sources and metrics; apply statistical fundamentals (mean, median, percentiles, standard deviation, correlation) with documented methodology

Salesforce Data & Automation:

- Maintain accurate, consistent records across accounts, contacts, leads, and opportunities - including data cleansing, deduplication, and field standardization

- Monitor and enforce data quality standards; build reporting that makes data quality gaps visible

- Own lead import, routing, and assignment for marketing-sourced and third-party contacts to business development reps and sellers

- Design and maintain Salesforce Flows and declarative automation for lead management, data quality, and reporting

- Integrate data across sales technologies (HubSpot, Groove, Koncert, Seismic) for a holistic view of engagement and pipeline effectiveness

- Understand object relationships, data model architecture, and the security model (profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules) and how they affect report visibility

- Implement validation rules and duplicate management to prevent bad data at entry; use enrichment tools to fill data gaps

- Manage change (sandbox deployments, change sets) and use audit fields for change tracking and troubleshooting

Go-to-Market Support:

- Build targeted audience lists for outbound campaigns and event follow-up, aligned to account segmentation, buying personas, and intent data

- Document report definitions, data logic, and recurring processes so the work is repeatable and not person-dependent

Qualifications:

- 4 - 5+ years in relevant revenue operations, sales operations, or business/data analysis supporting a commercial team

- Hands-on Salesforce expertise - reports, custom report types, dashboards, data imports, list views, and Flow Builder or comparable declarative automation

- Demonstrated analytical ability - able to structure a question, choose the right data, and explain what the result means, not just produce the output

- Experience using AI-assisted tools for data analysis (SOQL/SQL generation, Python scripts, Excel formulas) and data exploration (summarize datasets, identify patterns, generate hypotheses)

- Write effective AI prompts with context and constraints; verify generated output and recognize AI limitations and hallucinations

- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets - Power Query, Power Pivot, advanced lookups, string manipulation, and data modeling

- Working SQL skills - able to query a database or warehouse

- Experience building and maintaining dashboards in a BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)

- Clear written and verbal English and strong asynchronous communication habits - this role works with a US-based team and is expected to document its own work

- Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus

- Experience with HubSpot, Groove, Koncert, or Seismic is a plus

Working Model:

This role is based in India, working out of the India office location, and works with a US-based team.

A minimum of four hours of daily overlap with US Eastern business hours is required, including availability for standing meetings with Revenue Operations and Business Development.

Selection Process:

Finalists complete a short practical exercise - a Salesforce reporting and data analysis task representative of the day-to-day work - followed by a review conversation on the approach taken.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary based on experience and location, health and wellness benefits, and opportunities for professional development and advancement.

Why Join Us?:

At Apexanalytix, we're redefining what's possible in revenue enablement and go-to-market execution.

In this role, you will own the data and reporting that our commercial leadership uses to make decisions - with real visibility into how those decisions get made and a direct line to the people making them.

If you take pride in building reliable, structured systems and analyses that have a meaningful impact on the business, this role is for you.
