Apex Group - Vice President - Private Equity

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage day-to-day operations of private equity real estate funds, including deal sourcing, due diligence, and monitoring of portfolio companies.

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, cash flow projections, and investor/stakeholder reports.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new investment opportunities and develop strategies for growth.

- Conduct in-depth market and financial analysis to support investment decisions.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to internal policies.

- Support valuation processes, Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, and capitalization procedures.

- Develop and implement risk management frameworks for portfolio companies and fund operations.

- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on fund performance and potential investments.

Skillset & Requirements :

- 13 - 16 years of experience in real estate asset management or related private equity functions.

- Strong understanding of private equity fund structures, including partnerships and LLCs.

- Proficiency in Yardi or similar commercial property management software; knowledge of Investran or equivalent platforms is an asset.

- Experience in financial analysis, NAV calculations, and capital structuring.

- Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and fund governance.

- Experience in risk assessment, portfolio optimization, and strategic investment planning.
